Huichol art
Huicholes are one of the few Mexican ethnic groups that remains “pure” since the Spanish conquest. They are found in the mountains of the Sierra Madre occidental.
Placing color glass beads one by one teaches the Huicholes to be patient, and live their lives step by step. Through their creations, the Huicholes tell us their stories and myths.
